I was able to acquire this authentic Bob Dylan autograph that was signed for a collector in NYC in the 90's. He had this large photo album or scrap book and he would carry it around and if he ran into someone famous he would get an autograph then go back and attach some sort of photo with it. The book was mostly full of not relevant people but I was able to make a deal on 4 pages from it including this Dylan, and 3 other pages with George Steinbrener, Don Rickles and Bette Middler. If you need advise on who to use for this I know a couple people highly regarded for their restoration work. The autograph it's self is 4 to 5, rather large and super clean.
My scan crops off some of the right side but there is a small margin of paper there, his autograph doesn't go off the edge of the paper. You will get all 4 pages so you have the context of the history. Sadly the man died who collected these and I his wife whom I bought them from doesn't know any of the exact details, she did say he ran into most people on the subway though in the early 90's.
Thank you so much for viewing my auctions. I have beengetting autographs in person in the Pacific Northwest for over 2.5 decades. Ialso traveled frequently over the years to get autographs up and down the westcoast and beyond.Couple this with the fact that more and more people simply don't signor sign very little. This is why only a handful of people do this in each cityand is why people who sell real autographs have seemingly high prices. I guarantee everything I sell to pass any reasonable TPA such as ACOA, PSA, JSA or Roger Epperson. For albums I use crush proofmailers and I used chip boards and backers and bubble envelopes etc.. Please keep this in mind.
Condition and specific item details. I list a lot of stuffguys. It takes a lot of time. I can't always list every single detail so I askthat if you have a specific question about condition or potential minute flawsthat you just ask. Getting autographs can be like a scrum and items can getlittle marks or dents along the way.Usually not, but it can happen. So while99% of the items are perfect relative to the context, for example a used recordis USED!! Some items may have minor flaws so if you are a stickler for detailsshoot me a message here and I will specifically check for you but it it'snoteworthy I'd be forthcoming or just not list it.
This also applies to where Igot the item signed. I do not take "proof" photos. Proof photos are one of thebiggest scams in the hobby. 99% of the time they don't show your specific itemsbeing signed so they prove nothing other than said person was signingautographs at some point in time.
These photos are used repeatedly as a licenseto forge. People alter these images by photo shopping items into pictures andyou can go online and grab any "proof" photos and use them as your own. I don't wish to makethe signer uncomfortable and stop signing, my goal is to get more autographs, not generic images of them signing. "Proof" photos are big business in LA andNY for example where that photo being a license to forge is more valuable thanthe autograph itself.NY, LA and the UK are cesspools of the forging empire. The biggest myth in this hobby is that COA's proveauthenticity. This doesn't even apply to top TPA's such as Becket or PSA. I regularlysee fake times with TPA certs as do I see them fail real items. Authenticationisn't an exact science so like any human they often make mistakes. I do notoffer TPA certs with my items. I got them signed myself so I know they are realand don't need to pay someone else for their opinion on the matter.
If you wanta top TPA cert you will need to acquire this on your own at your own cost. Usually quick opinions can be had for a fraction of the cost too. I also do notoffer a personal COA. A personal COA is just paper, it has no meaningful power ofauthenticity on the open market so what is the point?
I'm willing to give you something tangible but not a homemademeaningless COA. The item "Bob Dylan autographed 12x14 photo album page.
